Cast Your Care

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, casting the whole of your care on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

I PETER 5:6-7

This passage of Scripture tells you to humble yourself and not worry. Worry is the mind racing around trying to find a solution to its situation. A person who worries still thinks that in some way he can solve his own problem. But only God can deliver you and in every situation your first response should be to lean on Him.

When the enemy tries to give you a problem, you have the privilege of casting it upon God. The word cast actually meant to pitch or throw. You and I can pitch our problems to God and He will catch them. He knows exactly what to do with them.

A tip of the Day – 24-08-09 (Monday)

A project becomes a mountain when you see the entire job looming before you. If you break it up into smaller, more reachable goals, then you’ll be much less apt to procrastinate.
