Today’s Devotion – 10-10-09 (Saturday):
A Deeper Walk
When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, Put out into the deep water, and let down the nets for catch.
LUKE 5:4
Faith is deposited in the spirit. Romans.12:3 says that every man is given a measure of faith. Faith is a force that comes out of the spirit, and it can accomplish great things, but faith must be released to be of value.
If you have faith in your heart to step out and do something but begin to take counsel with your mind, negative, doubtful, and unbelieving thoughts can talk you right out of what faith is telling you. If your head believes the opposite of what your spirit is telling you, you must go deeper.
Do you want a haul of blessings in your life? If the answer is yes, then like the disciples, you have to leave the shallow places of your own soul – what you think and feel – for the deeper life in God … what you know down deep inside.
A tip of the Day – 10-10-09 (Saturday):

To be loved, be loving.
